KEVIN V. LOGAN
Kevin joined Sinnott and Nuckols & Logan, P.C. in
1989 and became our vice president . Before joining
the firm, Kevin was Director of Claims for Virginia
Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company where he also earned
his Certified Property and Casualty Underwriter designation.
His practice focuses on personal injury, products liability,
construction litigation, workers' compensation and insurance
coverage issues in venues throughout the Commonwealth
of Virginia.
For seven years, Kevin has been an
active lobbyist before the Virginia General Assembly
on behalf of Virginia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company.
This position makes him uniquely qualified to conduct
frequent seminars on current insurance law, recent changes
in that law and pending changes before the legislature.
Kevin is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Richmond
teaching a class in Certified Property and Casualty
Underwriting. He also teaches Risk and Insurance Law
at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Kevin is a member of a variety of
legal and insurance organizations. He was admitted to
the Virginia State Bar in 1979 and is currently a member
of both the Virginia Bar Association and Chesterfield-Colonial
Heights Bar Association. He is also affiliated with
the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys and the
Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. His insurance background
has lead to memberships in the Richmond Claims Association,
Virginia State Claims Association and Federation of
Insurance and Corporate Counsel.
Kevin obtained his Juris Doctor degree
from the T. C. Williams School of Law at the University
of Richmond under the two-year accelerated program in
1979 where he was a member of the National Moot Court
Team. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from
the University of Richmond in 1972. He is currently serving as the Virginia State Chair for the Council on Litigation Management.
